Program: Our speaker is Cassy Montgomery who makes bags and bras. After a major career change in 2015 she rediscovered her love of sewing. After a few Craftsy classes and the Bag of the Month club she started making her own bras and all sorts of bags – purses, tote bags, wallets, you name it, she will make it. After a few personal bra making classes at Bra Maker’s Supply in Hamilton she dove in and took their professional bra making courses and now runs Over the Shoulder Designs. She also teaches bag making at Maker Savvy in Kanata.
